After two days of crappy weather, flickering electricity, being stuck in the house and just plain suckage –Syke’s Hampton roads friends were ready to get out and have a good time.  Naturally, they hit up Club Relevant for Syke’s Falling Forward CD Release show in VA Beach (well, that is, if they were cool enough to know where the party was).  Three of the bands featured on Falling Forward; Under the Bridge, Rude Zombie and City Light Dreams, rocked the stage. Joining the smokefree scene was The Soundtrack, all the way from Atlanta, who trekked through hail, sleet, rain, dogs, cats, meatballs (or anything else you can imagine falling from the sky) to close the show with an energetic and hard-hitting set.  96x joined the festivities showing their support of Syke and the local scene with a bunch of giveaways!   Speaking of giveaways, Syke raffled off some awesome t-shirts and gave away plenty of CD’s, guitar pick necklaces, buttons, stickers and high-fives.

But back to the important stuff: all the bands put on amazing sets plus MC Josh was the best and really got the crowd Syked. Hampton Roads  knows how to get down and we met a ton of rad people (you know who you are!).  And if you didn’t already know how Bad@$$ical Syke and our friends and fans are – just remember who didn’t let a silly Nor’Easter stop the show.
