Hotspur Double Header

The Syke show last Friday night was INSANE! It was Hotspur (Early Show) vs. Evil Hotspur (Late Show) and Syke got to hang for both!! The highlight was definitely ‘Evil’ Hotspur who took the stage in full costume and makeup. Priceless.

Local favorite, Trustfall, opened the show and killed it. They have a unique sound that kinda reminds me of Incubus (who is, coincidentally, one of their influences). Lights Resolve went off at their early and late performances and were AWESOME to watch live. Matt (lead vocals) jumped into the crowd at both shows and sang to/with everyone! Another up-and-coming local act, Margot MacDonald, had her CD release and it was definitely a “hell yeah!” moment for all us Syke girlies, and the fellas enjoyed every minute of it.
